1. Scope of these terms

This agreement applies when you request domain services through ResellerAfrica, whether for yourself or for an authorised customer. It should be read with our Reseller Master Agreement, Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy.

Each extension may be governed by its own registry and sponsoring registrar rules. Those rules apply where relevant to the service, including eligibility, verification, transfer restrictions and dispute procedures. ResellerAfrica does not claim direct accreditation for every extension.

2. Orders and registration confirmation

Check the domain spelling, extension, registrant details and registration term before submitting an order. A search result, invoice, payment or wallet debit alone does not reserve a domain or establish that registration has completed.

An order is completed only when the relevant registry or registrar confirms the operation. Availability can change before completion. Premium domains and restricted namespaces may have different prices or additional requirements.

3. Registrant information and authority

Provide accurate, current registrant information and any required eligibility documents. Obtain your customer’s authority before submitting or changing their domain records, and explain any required sharing of registration data.

The registrant should be the person or organisation entitled to hold the domain. Keep contact information up to date and respond to verification requests within the deadline stated in the request.

4. Prices and payments

Review the applicable registration, transfer and renewal price separately. The price and currency confirmed for an order govern that transaction, together with any disclosed taxes, premium charges or additional service fees. Future renewals may have different prices.

Account funding does not automatically place an order or renew a domain. You must have sufficient cleared credit or complete the required payment process.

5. Expiry, renewals and restoration

Monitor expiry dates and keep a working contact email address. Do not rely solely on reminders. Request and fund a renewal early enough for processing, taking account of the applicable registry rules.

Grace periods and restoration are not available for every extension. An expired domain may stop working, incur additional charges or become unavailable for recovery. A renewal or restoration request is not complete until confirmed by the registry or registrar.

6. Transfers and account changes

Transfers may require an authorisation code, confirmation from the registrant, removal of an eligible transfer lock or completion of an applicable waiting period. A transfer may be declined while a relevant restriction or dispute applies.

Changes to registrant details or account access must be authorised. Payment for a transfer does not guarantee that a restricted domain can be transferred.

7. Acceptable use and disputes

Do not use domain services for phishing, malware, fraud, unlawful impersonation or other illegal activity. You are responsible for checking that the domain and its use do not infringe another person’s rights.

Domain-specific dispute procedures and valid registry, registrar or legal orders may affect a domain’s status. Where action is required, we may restrict the affected operation or service in accordance with the applicable rules. No domain transfer of ownership occurs merely because a payment is disputed.

8. Registration data and privacy

Required information may be shared with the relevant registry, sponsoring registrar and service providers to perform the operation. Public registration data may be limited or redacted. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

9. Refunds and errors

Completed domain registrations, renewals, transfers and restoration services are non-refundable under our Refund Policy, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Check all details before placing an order.

Report a failed operation, incorrect debit, duplicate payment or unauthorised transaction promptly. We will investigate the records; a failed operation must not be presented as a completed service.

10. Changes and mandatory rights

We may update these terms to reflect service changes or applicable requirements. The updated date appears on this page. Material changes affecting an existing service should be communicated through the dashboard or the account contact details, as applicable.

Nothing in this agreement removes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. Questions and disputes should first be raised with our team, without limiting access to a competent regulator or court.
